Moudhapara police has registered case of cheating against 4 persons in connection with a property duping case. The accused sold a plot to the victim for Rs 3.37 lakh which originally belonged to some other person, police said on Sunday.
According to police the Kanchan Sahu resident of Ramsagarpara area has registered a case in this connection with Gole Bazaar police. In the report she narrated that Satyanarayn Joshi, Shailendra Verma, Govind Sahu and Pradeep Bagde of Gudhiyari few months back had shown a plot in Kota area to her stating that the land as their property. Then the accused took Rs 3.37 lakh from her and performed registry of the plot.
“After the registry of land Kanchan came to know that the original owner of land was some other person. After getting the complaint police has registered a complaint under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and is investigating.
