The Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CHB) in keeping with the 'zero tolerance' policy on corruption announced by Chief Minister Raman Singh, has decided to offer a 'toll free number' for registering complaints from the common people for their redressal.
A toll free helpline number '1800-233-0555' would also be launched shortly besides an e-payment gateway facility for the Board's beneficiaries to make payments online through various banks. The CHB had already uploaded entire details of its housing projects on its website www.cghb.gov.in, according to an official press release issued here on Thursday.
This was informed in a review meeting chaired by Commissioner, CHB, Sonmani Borah at the Board headquarters in the city. He said that no irregularities or negligence on part of the employees or officials would be tolerated in conduct of their work of Board's projects and stern action would be taken against them.
