Changorabhata and Avinash Pride in Zone 8 of Hirapur locality in Raipur were on Thursday declared containment zones.
In Changorabhata, 11 new Covid cases were reported while Avinash Pride saw 38 new Covid cases. The containment zones will have only one entry and exit points. Shops, offices and other commercial places will be suspended in the containment zone. All movement except for medical emergency will be banned, a press release said.
Daily home use items will be delivered by in-charge officers.
In medical emergency, residents can inform the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Raipur. CMHO will issue permits for people to leave the containment zone.
