The members of Co-ordination Committee of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) passed a resolution on Tuesday to seek for suspension of MlA R K Rai from party’s primary membership for alleged anti-party activities.
“The Committee has resolved to seek suspension of RK Rai and the proposal had been sent to AICC President Sonia Gandhi,” Congress National General Secretary and In-charge of Chhattisgarh BK Hariprasad told reporters here.
Meanwhile, angry RK Rai in his statement said that by passing the proposal seeking his suspension, the Congress party has insulted the tribals of the State.
