A high-level coordination committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Raman Singh was held at the Mantralaya here on Monday to discuss matters for preparation of the draft Youth Policy of Chhattisgarh.
The State Planning Commission would also invite suggestions from youths across the State.
Prior to the creation of ‘Youth Vision’ and ‘Youth Policy’, the State Government has decided to reach out to the youths representing different sections and hailing from various regions of the State, officials stated.
A detailed plan is being chalked out for the purpose wherein the Government would get in touch with youths through web portal and ‘Yuva Dristi Abhiyan’.
Under this programme, ideas would be invited through educational institutions in rural as well as urban areas.
For running the programme and feeding information in the web portal, workers would be trained. The guidelines for the same have been prepared.
