All the revenue courts of Chhattisgarh will be converted into e-courts and the process of making them online has already begun, officials informed.Pilot project as e-Court has been started in Korba and Koriya district of the State. After implementation of this scheme in the pilot project districts, it will be implemented in all the revenue courts of the State.Department officials informed that 'e-court' will facilitate hearings of cases, immediate redressals and enhance transparency of the process. Parties involved in the case will be able to receive updates of the hearing process from anywhere.The e-Courts will make it easier for officials to do monitoring. A sum of Rs 9.10 crore has been allocated for this fund. Under this scheme, the entire process right from registration of cases in revenue courts to the final redressal to writing order letter, marking evidences and passing the order etc will be made online. Rs 2.74 crore have been provisioned in the budget of fiscal year 2017-18.
