As many as 39 students had availed the facilities at Tribal Youth Hostel established by Chhattisgarh Government in New Delhi to help them prepare for various competitive examinations last year, officials said.
Presently, a total of50 students are availing the free hostel facility at Dwarika, New Delhi. The hostal had been established to facilitate best available coaching facility to youth of Chhattisgarh.In the current session 2014-15, 58 students have taken admission and are preparing for various competitive examinations.
In the tribal youth hostel operated by State’s Tribal Caste and Scheduled Caste Development Department, talented students from various sections of society are provided free accommodation facility for coaching and higher education in New Delhi.
The meritorious students of SC/ST/OBC category are provided hostel facility by the State government in New Delhi. This includes 37 boys and 13 girls for Civil Services Examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), five students for higher education and three students taking coaching for competitive exam.
