The one-day special session of Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly that has been called for discussing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill will be held on Monday.
“Only one meeting of the Assembly will be held for discussing the Constitutional (122nd amendment) bill 2014, that has been passed by both lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha,” Principal Secretary, Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly, Devendra Verma informed in a press release.
Meanwhile, a meeting of BJP legislators was held at the official residence of Chief Minister Raman Singh here on Sunday.
BJP MlA Shivratan Sharma, while talking to reporters after the meeting, said they (BJP legislators) would strongly support the GST bill in the House.
