The Chief Electoral Officer in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday reviewed preparations for the Presidential Election to be held on July 18. The Committee Room 2 of the Assembly Secretariat here will be the polling station.
Interacting with officials, Chief Electoral Officer Bhuvnesh Yadav called for expediting the preparation and ensuring adequate security for a smooth conduct of the polls.
The election material for voting will be received from New Delhi. After polling, the sealed ballot box and other material must be submitted at New Delhi, he said.
The use of mobile phones will be banned at the polling station, he added.
