The Central Government has approved opening of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in insurgency infested Kondagaon district of Bastar.
The Information regarding the same was conveyed by Union Cabinet Secretary Pradeep Kumar Sinha to State Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand in a meeting of Chief Secretaries of the states through video conferencing on Thursday, officials informed.
Sinha in meeting also informed that the Central government has also approved the installation of 465 additional mobile towers in insurgency infested pockets of Chhattisgarh.
He also informed that the Central Government has approved the opening of 707 post offices in eight insurgency infested districts of the State.
