Criticising three years of BJP rule at Centre, senior spokesperson of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Shakeel Ahmed on Saturday said that Central Government has failed on all fronts during its three years tenure.
“BJP led Central Government is taking credits of the schemes which were designed by Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government,’’ the AICC spokesperson told media persons.
He further alleged that the BJP-led Central Government has been inaugurating most of the schemes and projects which had been packaged and planned by the previous UPA Government.
launching attacks on Modi Government with figures, the Congress leader claimed that manufacturing associations show that 3 crores people were driven out from jobs due to demonetisation while 2 crores more people will lose their jobs in future because of demonetisation fallout.
He added that the BJP-led Central Government who had earlier strongly opposed to Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill has now passed it while BJP leaders had earlier supported lokpal Bill which has not been passed so far.
