Prashant Kumar, Joint Secretary, Rural Development ministry, conducted inspection of village Nevnara and Hasda under Berla block of Bemetara district on Sunday to review implementation of different Central Government sponsored schemes.
He inspected the Government Nursery established at Nevnara village where high yielding fruit bearing trees are distributed to the farmers including providing them technical assistance. He sought details of nursery and its production.
Kumar also interacted with the women self-help group office-bearers and met the villagers at village Panchayat Hasda. He also interacted with the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Housing Scheme.
He also took stock of the ‘Hamar Gaon, Hamar Scheme’ programme. Panchayat and Rural development department Raipur, PMHS director Amrit Topno and other officials were present at the meeting.
