Several programmes will be organised on the occasion of International Day for the Preservation of Ozone layer on Wednesday at the Science College here.
The programme will be organised by the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB). A seminar will be held on the importance of Ozone on human life and steps taken to protect it.
The National Physical laboratory New Delhi Chief Scientist Dr Bhaskar Gopal Agrawal will address the gathering.
Environment Conservation Board member Devendra Singh will inaugurate the programme.
