The State Government has clarified that no separate certificate on attestation and verification of caste certificate would be required if the same had been issued by a competent officer for the purpose of Government appointments, admission to schools, colleges and hostels and for election and nomintation to constitutional bodies, an official statement issued here on Thursday said.
However, the Government has warned that if the certificates are found to be fake then legal proceedings would be initiated against the persons submitting such certificates.
