Chhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo on Tuesday announced that cashless treatment will start in all government hospitals of the state from June 1.
Services in the Out Patient Department (OPD), In Patient Department (IPD), medicines and all types of diagnosis will be available free of charge to the people of the state, an official statement said.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given his approval to the cashless treatment.
Singh Deo told the Chhattisgarh Assembly that a budgetary provision has been made in this regard.
