Raipur district administration’s Revenue department team on Sunday took action against seven persons for illegal plotting in 10 acres of land in village Kandul on outskirts of capital city Raipur in Dharsiwa block.
Raipur Sub Divisional Officer Revenue Sandeep Agrawal-led team took action after a series of complaints were received for illegal plotting.
SDM had issued the notice to those involved in plotting but he did not get satisfactory reply. On Sunday, the revenue team used JCB to damage the road and drains constructed on the plots.
Agrawal said action has been taken against illegal plotting done by 7 people in village Kandul and cases have been registered against them and further action will be initiated under Coloniser Act.
Agrawal said, action was taken against Balram Sahu 0.389 hectare, Govind Punau 0.429 hectare, Minakshi Shiv Kumar 0.879 hectare, Samaliya and shiv Kumar 0.584 hectare, Kishore and Rupesh Itwari 0.203 hectare, Mohammed Ashraf Khan 0.271 and Jintendra Narayan 1.064 hectare.
