Chhattisgarh's automobile sector continues to shine. More cars were sold in the state in January 2021 as compared to January 2020.
In January last year, 4,523 cars were sold. This has gone up to 4,644 this month. This number is more than the 4,233 cars sold in December last year, an official statement said on Tuesday.
Although there is a recessionary atmosphere in the country due to the Corona crisis, the state remains untouched. During this period, the automobile sector and other sectors have registered steady growth in Chhattisgarh.
The statement credited this to the schemes implemented by the state government to strengthen the rural economy and increase the income of farmers as well as forest dwellers.
