He said the working hours of the municipal officers should start at 6 am and every day they should first travel to their respective area. This provides opportunities to the officers to know about different problems and the need of the people.
Since the work of a municipality is based on the basic need of the residents, it was essential for the officers to become sensitive. They need to work with innovative thinking and with a positive attitude, he said.
Yadav said the population in urban area were on the rise and there are many areas where developments have not taken place in a systematic way. Re-development of such area has become the need of the hour, he said.
