The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) on Sunday said that candidates can submit representation to the Commission along with photocopies of their answer sheets in case of any discrepancy in marking.
The statement came after the answer sheets (by preparing screenshots and image clips of incomplete answers to the questions) went viral on social media, showing that marks were given even for wrong answers.
A total of 2,661 candidates appeared in the State Service Main Examination 2022, an official statement said.
On the basis of 1 or 2 pages of answer sheets (screenshot image clips of incomplete answers to the questions) circulated on social media, it is not possible to identify as to which candidate the said answer sheet belongs to nor is it possible to verify the facts, the statement said.
So, such candidates can submit representation, it said.
Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to order a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the CGPSC candidate selection and evaluation process. He had also said that an irregularity has been exposed in the evaluation and interview of the main examination of State Service Examination 2022 conducted by CGPSC.
