A cancer awareness marathon will be organised from Gandhi Udyan to Ghari Chowk on the occasion of World Cancer Day on Wednesday. Chief Minister Raman Singh will be present at the marathon which will start at 8 am, said Dr Pushkar Dwivedi and Dr Mau Roy of Agrawal Ramkrishna Care Hospital. The doctors said that the theme of the World Cancer Day 2015 is ‘Not Beyond Us’. The objective of the awareness campaign is to sensitise the people and the Government to implement the prevention plans, educate people for early detection of cancer and to provide affordable treatment to the patients.
