Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry in joint co-operation with Chhattisgarh Government will be conducting a camp for providing prosthetic limbs and auxilliary devices to the physically disabled on Thursday in the city.
The composite camp and disabled instruments distribution function will be inaugurated at the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University Conference hall at 11:30 am. Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot will preside over the function and CM Raman Singh, who will be the chief guest, will inaugurate it.
Member of Parliament, Raipur and Chairman of Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry Parliamentary Standing Committee Ramesh Bais, Chhattisgarh State Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Ramsheela Sahu, Public Works Department, Housing and Environment Minister Rajesh Munat, MlA (Raipur North) Shrichand Sundrani and MlA (Raipur Rural) Satyanarayan Sharma will be present as special guest.
The programme is organised by Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry’s undertaking Bharatiya Artificial limbs Manufacturing Corporation, Kanpur.
