Chief Minister Raman Singh on Wednesday informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly that currently there are 178 approved posts for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the State.
In a written reply to Congress member Arun Vora, the Chief Minister informed that out of 178 approved posts of IAS officers, 150 officers had been posted in the State.
He also informed that the State government’s proposal for cadre revision of the IAS officers had been pending with the Central Government.
