New classes of arms have been included for compassionate amount to be paid by the State Government to Maoists surrendering with different kinds of weapons apart from the earlier list.
Similarly, under Chhattisgarh Police Executive (Non-Gazetted) posts, three years of age relaxation including height and chest width has been provided, as per the decision taken in the Cabinet Meeting chaired by Chief Minister Raman Singh at the Mantralaya here on Thursday.
As per the list of arms and compensation amount, rocket launcher (84 mm) is Rs 5 lakh, Trichy assault (TAR) Rs 3 lakh, INSAS rifle Rs 1.50 lakh, X95 assault rifle/MP 9 technical Rs 1 lakh, X-Caliber 5.56 mm Rs 60,000, UBGL Attachment Rs 40,000, 315 Bore rifle Rs 30,000 Glag Pistol 9 mm Rs 25,000 and Projector 13/16/Musket Rife/UBGL Cell is Rs 2,000.
The State government in an order on November 16, 2015 the insurgency infested and surrendered Naxalites extensive rehabilitation provisions were made.
One of the provisions was that if the Naxalites surrender with the arms, then against the arms he or she would be given compensation in form of compassion amount.
The amounts as per arms are — LMG Rs 4.50 lakh, A.K-47 is Rs 3.00 lakh, SLR rife Rs 1.50 lakh, 303 rifle Rs 75,000, 12 bore rifle Rs 30,000, 2 inch mortar Rs 2.50 lakh, single shotgun Rs 30,000 while 9 MM carbine Rs 20000, pistol/revolver Rs 20000, wireless set Rs 5000, remote-device Rs 3000, IID Rs 3000, explosive Rs 1000 per kilogram, grenade/gelatin rod Rs 500 and all types of ammunition Rs 5000 per ammunition.
Similarly, for Chhattisgarh Police Executive (Non-Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules 2006 rule 8(2) the Subedhar, Sub Inspector category/Platoon Commander the age limit has been relaxed by three years for selection examination 2018.
If against these posts the Scheduled Tribe candidate men apply for the post, then the minimum height is 163 cm and chest without expansion is 78 cm and after expansion is 83 cm has been fixed.
