The Chhattisgarh Government on Thursday offered the status of Cabinet Minister and Minister of State to dozens of chairmen of various commissions, boards and corporations.
As per the order, as many as seven Chairmen have been accorded the status of Cabinet Minister while others have been designated as Minister of State.
The status of Cabinet Minister has been given to Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Seed and Agriculture Development Corporation Shyam Bais, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation limited Shivratan Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation Devji Bhai Patel, Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation lata Usendi, Chairman of Waqf Board Salim Ashrafi, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Santosh Bafna and Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Beverage Corporation limited Yudhvir Singh Judev.
Similarly, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Khadi and Village Industries Board Krishna Rai, Chairmen of Chhattisgarh State Backward Class Commission Dr Siyaram Sahu, Chhattisgarh State Scheduled Caste Commission Ramji Bharati, Chhattisgarh Housing Board Bhupendra Sawanni, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Chagan Mundra, Chairman of Raipur Development Authority Sanjay Shrivastava and Chhattisgarh Handicraft Development Board Deepak Sahu have been given the status of Cabinet Minister.
likewise, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation Neelu Sharma, Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission Kamal Chandra Bhanjdeo, Chhattisgarh Disabled Finance and Development Corporation Sarla Jain and Child Welfare Commission Shatabdi Pandey have been designated as Minister of State.
