In a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19 infection, the Chhattisgarh government has decided to keep its Secretariat and offices of Departmental Heads closed till August 6. The work will continue to be done from home.
A meeting presided by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his cabinet on Monday decided to extend the total lockdown in hot spot areas till August 6.
Earlier, the lockdown was announced from July 22 to 28.
During the extended period, all the Departmental Heads, Secretaries, officers and workers of these offices will execute their work from home, an official statement said. All the employees will have to remain connected through email and phone.
