Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Electricity Regulatory Commission Hemant Verma at an event organized here.
Baghel extended his best wishes to Verma on becoming the fifth chairman of the Regulatory Commission. Several senior officials attended the function.
A Chhattisgarh resident, Verma obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Raipur in 1985 and a Master's degree in Energy Studies and a MBA in Finance from IIT Delhi. He has worked in the power sector for the last 30 years.
