Chhattisgarh is going to launch a month-long Covid-19 booster dose campaign from August 15 to September 15. The vaccination will be done free of cost.
This decision was taken at a steering committee meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain.
The Chief Secretary also told officials to hold special camps at five big offices at each divisional headquarters from August 11 to 14 for the vaccination.
From August 19 to 21, the vaccination camps must be organised at campuses of five big offices at the block level, he said.
The meeting was told that in Chhattisgarh 2,22,76,912 persons have been vaccinated with the first dose, 1,96,79,341 persons with both the doses and 38,01,813 persons have got the booster dose too.
