Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday said that education, health and employment were the priority issues for his government.
Baghel said this at the launch of a private regional news channel here where he was the chief guest.
He said: “We are working to conserve and promote tribal culture. Our policies have brought a positive change in the lives of the people. Today there is a demand for schools and banks even in the remote areas of Bastar."
Today, health and education have become very expensive. Even the middle and lower classes are not prepared for ill health, he said.
In such a situation, the government provides up to Rs. 5 lakh through Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Protection Scheme and Rs. 20 lakh under the Chief Minister's Special Assistance Scheme, he said.
