A young engineer from Chhattisgarh has built a machine that takes data from a computer and with a laser prints the desired design on many surfaces including wood, glass and plastic.
Aditya B has come out with the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine under the ‘Make in Chhattisgarh', and it has drawn a crowd at the Rajyotsava 2022 exhibition underway at the Science College ground here.
Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) CEO Ritesh Agrawal on Thursday said that young innovator built it through the startup 36Inc Centre funding.
Agrawal said that with the help of laser centering, any desired shape can be created with absolute precision without any craftsman.
Aditya said these machines were now being manufactured locally. Traders of Chhattisgarh have booked 16 machines.
Agrawal said CHiPS has been funding the startups of youths of the state, mainly innovations for agriculture and rural areas, through 36Inc Centre.
Apart from startups based on cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain are being promoted, he added.
