Bus operators in Chhattisgarh can now relax. They can get special permits online to run their buses on occasions like marriage, picnic, pilgrimage and other functions.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the government is making a hassle-free special permit system, said a press release issued by the Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department.
Now the bus operators do not have to go to the Regional Transport Office to secure permits. Instead, they can log into www.parivahan.gov.in, submit their applications online along with taxes and fees and then download the bus permit once the process is complete.
