The Chhattisgarh Government on Monday carried out a key bureaucratic reshuffle while assigning new duties to some Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
As per the order, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Environment Department, Principal Resident Commissioner (New Delhi), Chairman of Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) and Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB), N Baijendra Kumar, IAS, has been entrusted with charge of Energy Department as Additional Chief Secretary.
Meanwhile, Kumar has been relieved of the charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Environment and Chairman of NRDA.
In his place, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, IT, Electronics and Energy, Aman Kumar Singh has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Housing and Environment and made Chairman of NRDA, while simultaneously relieving him of the charge of Energy Department.
Besides, Yashwant Kumar, IAS, has been posted as Joint Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department along with getting additional responsibility of Joint Secretary of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Department.
