City-based builder Sanjay Bajpai has been taken on an extended five-day police remand.
The builder was produced before the court after expiry of his three days remand with the police on Monday. Bajpai is an accused in a government land grabbing case registered against him relating to Swagat Vihar Colony in Dunda at Moudhapara police station in the city. The police had demanded 15 day remand for the builder when he had surrendered in the court . The police had demanded an extended remand for the builder for interrogating him further in the case.
