The Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has recorded its best ever production of high tensile (finished) plates as also dispatches of HT plates in the first quarter (Q 1) of current fiscal 2014-15, a company statement issued here stated.
The Plate Mill recorded 58,214 tonnes production of HT (finished) plates in Q1 of current fiscal as compared to previous best of 55,448 tonnes recorded in Q1 of previous fiscal 2013-14. Dispatches of HT plates recorded in Q1 of current fiscal has been 60,399 tonnes as compared to previous best of 51,311 tonnes recorded in Q1 of previous fiscal 2013-14.
The Mill has also recorded its best June dispatches of 18,935 tonnes of HT plates as compared to previous best of 18,841 tonnes recorded in June 2011.
