Mahamaya Mine and Dalli Manual Mine recently won the National Safety Awards (Mines) 2013, a Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) Press release informed.
Mahamaya Mine won the award in the category of lowest Injury Frequency Rate and Dalli Manual Mine was Runners-up in this category.
These awards, instituted by Union Ministry of labour and Employment is in recognition of good safety performances in the mines.
The prize distribution ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
