The Safety Propagation Week organised at MARS-2 Department of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) concluded here.
BSP General Manager (Safety and Fire Brigade Services) T Pandiaraja was the chief guest on the occasion. The special invitees in the concluding session were General Manager (Shops) MB Ganeshmurty, Deputy General Manager (MARS-1) SK Kataria and DGM (Central Projects) PK Rastogi.
Pandiaraja stressed on the necessity of inculcating the habit in each employee for ensuring the safe working conditions. General Manager (Shops) MB Ganeshmurty, stressed on the importance of good house keeping.
The employees from Department, CK Verma, SR Kashyap, NK Choure, S Devnath, Ravindra Kumar, VP Dube, S Tirki, B Shukla and Jethuram were presented awards for their contribution in ensuring safe working conditions in the Department.
A number of activities, including the screening of documentary films based upon various aspects of safety, demonstration of fire fighting, imparting training in civil defence, the safety based discussions organised for contract workers and imparting instructions on IMS System introduced in BSP were organised during the Week.
