Nayi Chetna— the awareness session for women contract workers was organised in the auditorium of Blooming and Billet Mill of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) here.
The session was organised under the joint aegis of all mills under Mills Zone and was attended by a large number of women workers, deployed at various mills under BSP. GM I/c (Merchant & Wire Rod Mill) R.K.Sinha was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, Sinha pointed out that such sessions would be continued in future for facilitating maximum numbers of women contract workers.
Rajeev Menon and Sushma Saxena from Personnel Department also elaborated upon the propriety of conducting such awareness workshops for women contract workers. Soon after, Asstt. Manager (Personnel-Contract Workers Cell) K.R. Mehra informed about the facilities being provided to the women contract workers, like ESI, Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, along with several other welfare schemes. Junior Manager (Personnel-Mills Zone -1) conducted the proceedings and also proposed the vote of thanks.
