The spouses of employees from Sintering Plant-2 and 3 were taken on an escorted visit by the Personnel Department (SPs & OHP) for observing the production process of different units of the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) here. They were welcomed at HRDC in a function which was presided over by General Manager (GM) (SPs) SV Padegaonkar.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were DGM I/c (Personnel-Works), Anurag Nagar, DGM I/c (SP-3) S.Bhattacharya, DGM (SP-2) Chandan Pal and DGM (Personnel) Rajeev Menon. A total of 32 spouses of plant employees attended the function.
Padegaonkar while addressing the spouses of the employees elaborated upon the significant role played by the spouses of employees in encouraging them and in keeping their moral high. Senior Manager and Departmental Safety Officer (SP-2) SC Agrawal apprised the visitors about visitors about the safety regulations to be followed while visiting different production units inside the plant.
During their plant visit, the spouses of employees visited SP-2 and 3, Coke Oven Batteries, Blast Furnace No- 7, Plate Mill and Rail Mill, where they keenly observed the production process and the working conditions of the employees. Junior Manager (SPs and OHP) Harshal Agrawal conducted the proceedings and Personnel Manager, RK Jha proposed the vote of thanks.
