State BJP President Dharamlal Kaushik on Saturday said that the BJP's 'storm' uprooted BSP in Uttar Pradesh and the latter is now searching for ground in the ‘Fortress of Development’ in Chhattisgarh.
In a statement, Kaushik said: “Mayawati when as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, if she had worked for the poor, workers and farmers, along with ensuring development, her party would not have lost power.”
Kaushik further said that the BJP has won confidence of the people on basis of development and welfare schemes, due to which public sentiments have been in its favour for last three tenures.
“BJP treads on path of development and welfare for all; due to which it has been possible to reach all sections of the society. The people of the State can compare what Chhattisgarh was earlier and now at present they can see development ”, he said.
