The Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) on Tuesday reported a 34 percent rise in net profit to Rs 1,036 crore in the third quarter which ended in December 2023. The bank posted a net profit of Rs 775 crore for Q3 in 2022. The bank is progressing due to improvements in interest income and a decline in bad loans, bank officials said.
Its total income increased to Rs 5,851 crore during the quarter review of 2023, up from Rs 4,770 crore in 2022.
