The body of five-year-old boy whose abduction report was registered with the Rajendra Nagar Police Station, was found floating in a pond near his house on Saturday. Police have suspected that boy could have drowned while playing.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Rajendra Nagar, NV Singh, the body of the boy was spotted on Saturday afternoon. “No injury marks were found on the body of boy so it seems that while playing near the pond he could have fallen in the pond and drowned,” said the SHO and added that the exact reason of death would be known only after the post-mortem report was obtained.

It may be mentioned that the abduction case Mohit Yadav (5) son of Horilal Yadav, resident of Sarvoday Nagar, was registered with Rajendra Nagar Police Station on Friday.
