A Block-level Marathon will be held here on Thursday at 7 am from Korkoma to Jhagarha road under the aegis of Sports and Youth Welfare Department. The persons under the age group of 15-35 years can register their names and participate in the Marathon.
As per the Marathon programme, a 10 km race is for Men’s group while 5 km for Women's group. The Sports and Youth Welfare Department has announced cash prize of Rs 1000, 500, 300 and 200 for first four winners while fifth to tenth position winners each will be given Rs 100 as cash prize. The top 10 winners of the Marathon will get a chance to participate in the district-level competition.
