The Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls will be carried out in the district from October 15 to November 10. The names of fresh voters who will complete 18 years of age on January 1, 2015 will be added in the voter list while the names of those voters who are either dead or have left their place of residence will be deleted from the voter list, said Deputy District Election Officer, NC Nairoji.
Nairoji said that the training of booth level officers (BlOs) has been started at all Tehsil headquarters for the revision of electoral roll. The training of BlOs will be held at Government Higher Secondary School, Rajim on September 24, at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Churra on September 25, at Government Higher Secondary School, Mainpur on September 27 and at Government Secondary School, Devbhog on September 29, he said.
