The workers of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will stage a demonstration at Gudhiyari Zone-1 Office of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) to protest drinking water shortage and other civic problems on Friday.
The BJP’s Gudhiyari Zone president Vinod Tiwari said that five wards including Bapa, Sant Kabir Das, Danveer Bhamashah, Veer Shivaji and Netaji Kanhaiyalal Bajari are facing acute problem of drinking water for the past few days. People have repeatedly informed the municipal officers about these problems but all the complaints have fell on deaf ears as no action has been taken by Zone Commissioner and other officers of the Department.
“local residents, corporators, and BJP workers will gherao the Zone office and apprise the officers about the problems faced by the local residents. A memorandum will be handed over to the officer and a deadline will be set for solving the problems,” said Tiwari.
