The ‘Poll Tour Committee’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have commenced preliminary round of discussions on identifying key constituencies and the campaigners who would be required to address public gatherings in various parts of Chhattisgarh.
The first meeting of the ‘Poll Tour Committee’ formed to draw up poll campaign schedules for the prominent national and State-level leaders was held under the chairmanship of the committee’s Convenor Ashok Sharma at the State BJP headquarters here on Tuesday.
The committee members also held a discussion on the names of party leaders and other key speakers who would be required to campaign extensively in the key constituencies of the State. Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Subhash Rao said that the party will enter the poll fray with full preparations.
