Acrucial meeting of lok Sabha level office bearers of the district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held here on Sunday.
On the occasion, State BJP spokesperson and party’s lok Sabha Poll Convenor in Chhattisgarh Yashwant Jain appealed to all the district-level party office bearers to complete tasks for gathering of soil and iron by February 11 for the statue of country’s late Home Minister Sardar Vallabhai Patel to be constructed in Gujarat. He said that all the office bearers must contact the party workers for actively participating in the ‘One Vote One Note’ campaign in the district between February 11 to 18 for getting Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi elected as the Prime Minister of the country in the lokSabha polls.
Speaking on the occasion, national president of BJP Mahila Morcha and MP Saroj Pandey said that the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre had failed on all fronts.
