Uttar Pradesh BJP president laxmikant Bajpai on Sunday said that the people of the country have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party will form a majority to provide a strong and clean government in Uttar Pradesh.
He said this while addressing party workers at the launching of online membership campaign at party’s office ‘Ekatm Parisar’ in Raipur here on Sunday.Bajpai said that success of any party is related to its strength at booth level. The booth level worker is the backbone of the party. The party is like mother for the workers and sometimes takes tough decisions which should not be taken otherwise by the workers.
He exhorted upon the workers to work to strengthen the party.Convener of party’s IT Cell Deepak Makshey said that the party has set target of 10 crore members and the online membership campaign has been launched in this direction. A Control Room has been established for the purpose.A person willing to join the party will have to give missed call on the number 18002662020.Thereafter, the caller will receive SMS which will have membership number. The applicant will be asked to provide his name and address on a telephone number. Thereafter, he will receive a SMS to confirm his membership, he said .
State General Secretary (Organisation) Rampratap Singh, District President Ashok Pandey, Sachchidanand Upasne, Sanjay Srivastava, Rajiv Agrawal, Chagan Mundra, Kedar Gupta, Saleem Asharfi, Rashmi Sharma, Subhash Tiwari and a number of workers were present on the occasion.Shyam Sunder Agrawal conducted the proceedings of the programme while Suryakant Rathore proposed a vote of thanks.
