Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday said it seems the BJP was facing factionalism and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was emerging as an alternate to the Modi-Shah leadership.
Citing statements of Chhattisgarh BJP chief Arun Sao, Baghel told that media that Sao now appreciates the ‘bulldozer’ politics which indicates that the magic of Modi-Shah was fading and so Adityanath was being promoted by the BJP.
That is why the state BJP chief now talks of following the path of Adityanath and appreciates him, Baghel said.
“It is not astonishing as the failure of the Modi government in providing employment and curtailing prices of petrol, diesel and other essential commodities has compelled BJP leaders now to promote Adityanath,” he said.
