A delegation led by State Convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party’s legal Assistance Committee (lAC) Naresh Chandra Gupta on Friday met Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath on his arrival in city and submitted a memorandum alleging biased attitude of Com-mission towards the party, a BJP statement issued here stated.
The 7-page memorandum mentioned that no action was taken on the complaints of BJP regarding expenditure made by Raipur Mayor for holding of Raas Garba, distribution of watches having pictures of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi among others. The delegation urged CEC to go through the memorandum and take appropriate action.
