The BJP Mahila Morcha in Raipur carried out appointment of 10 members each on Sunday at the booth level to prepare for the forthcoming Assembly polls in the State.
The appointements were made during the meeting of 16 Circle presidents and general secretaries of the Mahila Morcha in Chhattisgarh in a meeting held at the State BJP headquarters here today, a party statement stated here .
The appointments are part of the party ‘Mission 2013-14’ programme for the Assembly polls. The Mahila Morcha would also hold a meeting at the Circle level on August 13 and 14 this year at the Niranjan Dharmashala in Telibandha in which tips would be offered to the members on holding local meeting and large public meetings related to the Assembly polls, it stated. A large public meeting at the Assembly level had been planned in Raipur on August 24 which is to be attended by 5000 to 7,000 women members, the statement added.
