BJP leader levels serious allegations against Lakhma

BJP leader Dr Shivnarayan Dwivedi on Thursday leveled serious and sensational allegations against Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma claiming that he had nexus with Maoists who carried out Jheeram Valley Massacre.

He was recording his statement as an approver before Justice Prashant Mishra-headed one man judicial probe panel investigating into the killings.

Later talking to media persons Dwivedi said he had demanded of the probe panel to conduct a narco-test on the minister who was rescued alive after detention and was allegedly giving information about the senior leaders to Maoists.

Dwivedi who was an eyewitness of the incident as he was at that time in Congress party said he had briefed the probe panel that the Maoists who executed the massacre stopped firing on Lakhma’s appeal and ‘surprisingly’ left him alive after his detention for a few hours.

He also demanded security cover to him after revelations made by him before the probe panel, asserting that he had now a life threat from the minister.

Congress leader Shailesh Nitin Trivedi who also recorded his statement before the panel and submitted affidavits as well as a pen drive as evidence later stated that he had strongly opposed the allegations of Dwivedi before the panel. The only motive of the BJP leader was to create a sensation, he said.
